“Blackburn Villa B&B, a recent 'Four in a Bed' winner, seems to set a high bar for seaside stays in Ayr. I particularly appreciate the rare thoughtfulness for pets, not just tolerance but genuine amenities. The little touches, like Arran Aromatics in the bathrooms, suggest a level of care beyond the ordinary.”

Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Blackburn Villa B&B provides easy access to both the beach and Ayr town centre, with some guests appreciating the scenic pedestrian path to the coast near historic buildings and views of Arran and Greenan Castle. The rooms are often described as large, with amenities like fresh milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and sometimes even a sofa; plus, bathrooms can be modern, although a few guests have noted they can feel small. Breakfast is a highlight, offering generous portions and varied choices, including options for those with gluten intolerances.
